Dr. Titus followed in the footsteps of her mentor, Dr. Mary Fullstone, and became a family practice physician through the University of Nevada School of Medicine and returned to southern Lyon County to serve the community for 37 years as the only full time medical provider 30 miles in any direction. (Read more here.) Dr. Titus has championed increasing rural health care access and is still the Lyon County Health Officer. Her goal is to make rural Nevada the best place to live, work, and raise a family while maintaining the character and vitality of our local communities. Dr. Robin Titus advocates sound fiscally-responsible policy and is committed to preserving the American and Nevadan way of life.
Meet Dr. Robin Titus
Dr. Robin Titus serves as the Senate Republican Leader and has previously served as the Assembly Republican Leader. Her great-grandfather came to Nevada in 1866, to try his hand at mining. In the 1880s, her family settled in Smith Valley. Dr. Titus completed undergrad and med school at UNR and returned to serve Lyon County as a family practice doctor for 37 years. In addition to serving her patients, she also served as Chief of Staff at the Lyon County Hospital and on the State Board of Medical Examiners. She is in her fourth term at the Legislature and is the Lyon County Health Officer. Dr. Titus served as President Trump’s Nevada Campaign Co-Chair.

As the wife of a retired Lyon County Sheriff, Dr. Titus unequivocally backs the blue and supports our law enforcement and first responders.
As a longtime NRA member and proud CCW holder, Dr. Titus successfully led the fight to stop the egregious gun control bill during this last session both times the Democrats tried ramming it through. Dr. Titus will always remain vigilant protecting our Second Amendment.
